I’ve just had a really gross and awful thought, and hopefully I’m completely off base. The question about Reynard, and what he wants with Julia is bugging me too. This episode reminded me that when Ember gave Alice her god power, he did it with a jar of….. well, you know. And then, think about what Reynard did to Julia. Did that result in a similar transfer of something (anything?) to her? Is that going to have some kind of delayed effect (apart from the perfectly understandable and obvious damage it’s caused her mentally and emotionally). Even foxes need to mate.
On a lighter note….. the Oh-wellspring??
lol. So you think maybe she is pregnant, and that’s why he didn’t kill Julia?! I think you may be right!
Not sure if I’m thinking she’s pregnant, or whether he’s done some kind of weird transfer of power or attributes. I don’t know why he would pick her in particular, but there’s definitely more going on there.
And I don’t want to much more nastiness from Reynard. I’ve kind of got the point. I don’t want it to be like Negan in this season’s The Walking Dead. We get it, Reynard is nasty, you don’t need to murder anyone or turn any more cats inside out to prove it. Just deal with him already.
He Def gave her more power. That was spoken about in the show. She is more powerful now. But there has to be more to this. Just like you say… why did he spare her?
